Fowberry Cossack

Cossack joined us as a baby with his mum Ruby he is a well grown boy with a colourful character he has a lovely sweet and friendly nature, he runs up to you in the field for a cuddle and to check out what you are up to. Cossack is very laid back like his mum Ruby but he is also very inquisitive and feels the need to be involved in everything we do from building fences, to herd health and toe nail trimming and injections. Cossack is extremely easy to handle, we can catch him in an open field and halter him, he also helps us catch the others without the need for a catch pen. He is always well behaved during any handling and health checks. Cossack has a beautiful fleece and looking inside it and seeing the brightness and crimp is a pleasure. Cossack has been a dream to halter train and we have high hopes for him. In his first year in the show ring he was awarded 2 first place rosettes and went on to win Champion Fawn male at NWAG and Reserve Champion at the Scottish Alpaca Championships. Cossack is a firm favourite and knows how to play the visitors on the farm, there is nothing better than seeing him strut over to friends children always asking me first and just to put his head in their arms and get a big cuddle. We are thinking he does need to man up a bit.
